Freelance Amazon SEO Copywriter

Lean Edge Marketing, is a boutique Amazon Marketing Agency with a variety of Clients from small start-ups to enterprise institutions. We come from digital marketing, direct response and CPG backgrounds and are self-professed “Amazon nerds.” We love being presented with challenges to which we can find solutions. We are laser focused on driving growth and profitability for our Clients on Amazon. We win when our clients do!

We are currently searching for a talented freelance SEO copywriter, with working experience on Amazon. This is a remote position.

Project Description:

The primary function of this role is to absorb the brand voices of our Clients and write product accurate, keyword-rich copy that compels the Amazon customer to purchase that good. This includes writing listings titles, bullets, product descriptions, A+ Content, image copy, and/or copy on Brand Stores. All copy must comply with Amazon’s Terms of Service (TOS).

You will be responsible for studying client branding / product details and conducting both competitor research and keyword research (using tools like Helium 10).

This position is remote and largely independent but will require frequent communication with our team and occasional Client or Team meetings. For this reason candidates will need to have some availability during normal business hours (Eastern Time).

Requirements:

Be based in the US / Eligible to Work in US / Native US English Speaker and Writer
Communications / Creative Writing Degree or Relevant Industry Experience
Strong Keyword Research Skills
Strong SEO Copywriting Skills
Strong Proofreading and Editing Skills
Strong Communications Skills
Strong Project Management Skills
Possess a Minimum of 1 Year of Experience with Amazon Listing Optimization and Keyword Research
Be Organized and Have Strong Attention to Detail (Grammar Mistakes/Spelling Mistakes will not be Acceptable).
Knowledge of Amazon’s TOS, Guidelines, Rules in relation to Listing copy/A+ Copy
Working Knowledge of Helium 10 or other Amazon Keyword Research Tools
Working Knowledge of Google Docs, Basecamp, Dropbox
Be Registered (or Willing to be Registered) as a Company within Home State
Carry Liability & Worker’s Compensation Insurance

Projects will be paid on an hourly basis ($22-$30 per hour depending on experience) or on a project basis.
